Where College Tool Came From
College Tool started with a military family doing this math by hand at the kitchen table. The phase approach came from there, and so did tying the figures to their sources, because the family doing the math had to check the sources themselves.
The book came first. The Order Matters is a plain-language guide to VA education benefits for military families, free to read and free to download.
